Rubin Observatory Spots Ancient Interstellar Comet 3I/ATLAS Way Ahead of Schedule
The Vera C. Rubin Observatory detected the interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS much earlier than other telescopes. This remarkable find happened during the observatory's commissioning phase.
