Techception! Robots Carrying Robots and More Crazy Gadgets at IFA
So, IFA is happening, and if there's one thing I'm noticing, it's tech companies stuffing tech into other tech. It's like they're playing a game of technological Russian nesting dolls!
We're seeing motion sensors squeezed into light bulbs, which is kind of cool. Imagine your lights knowing when you're in the room – no more fumbling for switches in the dark! There are also projectors built right into party speakers. I guess that's one way to liven up a gathering, though I'm not sure how practical it is.
But the one that really caught my eye? A robot designed to carry another robot. Yeah, you read that right. It's like they looked at the Roomba and thought, "How can we make this even more extra?". This thing is apparently learning to climb stairs, which is something my Roomba definitely can't do (and I'm not sure I want it to!).
And, of course, Philips Hue is getting some love. It sounds like they're giving their whole lineup a refresh, which is good news if you're invested in their ecosystem. I have a couple of Hue bulbs myself, and I do admit, it's nice to control the lighting from my phone.
