First Look: Dyson's Spot+Scrub Ai Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
So, Dyson's jumped into the robot vacuum/mop combo game with the Spot+Scrub Ai. It's their first attempt at this kind of device, and honestly, after spending some time with it, I'm not completely blown away. It was revealed during the IFA tech show in Berlin, and I was eager to see what Dyson had cooked up, especially after their 360 VisNav robot vacuum last year.
This new robot sports a round design, a self-cleaning roller mop, and lidar navigation. What's cool is that it has Dyson's first multifunctional dock, which I think it's a great feature. And, of course, it's got the "AI" tag because apparently everything does these days. Let's be honest, though, the AI label feels a bit like marketing hype.
I think most of us have high expectations when it comes to Dyson products. Their regular vacuums are top-notch, and they’ve really set a high bar for themselves. It's just my opinion, but their robot vacuums, so far, haven't quite lived up to that standard.
